Yes, you need to fill out and submit a new FAFSA® every year. Your financial aid eligibility does not carry over from one year to the next. Since your financial circumstances might change, you may be eligible for more or less aid. Renewal of your financial aid package also depends on satisfactory academic progress toward a degree, such as earning a minimum number of credits and achieving a minimum GPA.
