How do I access my scholarship applications or how do I receive them?

  1. Scholarship providers that host their scholarships on Going Merry are provided credentials to login to their Provider Portal by a Going Merry representative. In the Provider Portal, scholarship providers have access to preview and download student applications and supporting documents. Providers cannot sign up for a Provider Account to access the Provider Portal on their own. There is not an option to sign up for this account type on our website. Providers must be sent credentials by Going Merry. Alternatively, if you are working with a committee or a school counselor that has access to the Provider Portal, they can invite you to create a Provider Account (you will receive an email with instructions on how to create a Provider Account and access the Provider Portal).

  2. A second, less common, option to access scholarship applications is to set up your program to receive emailed applications. With this option, applications can be immediately emailed to you or your organization after each student applies.

What does an application look like?

You can view or download what a sample application PDF looks like below. You can always print these applications if you prefer reading a physical copy.

The application PDF contains two parts:

  1. Student information from students' Going Merry Profiles. This information is based on what information your specific scholarship asks for (so if you don't want certain information submitted with an application, let us know and we will not gather that info). Students only enter this information once and can reuse this information on all of their applications. See the image below.

  2. Application questions and answers. When you build your application, you can ask additional questions in the form of Yes/No questions, Check Box Single-Select or Multiple-Select questions, Drop Down list questions, Single-line Text prompts, or Multi-line Text prompts.
