(You must have a school listed in your profile to add your GPA. If you don't have a school listed, follow the instructions listed above to add your school.)

If you have your school listed, click on your school name then a pop-up box will appear. Scroll down to the GPA section, edit your GPA then click Save.

If you are in high school, you can find target colleges in the Education section of your student profile

Under the Target College List section, click + Add college.

Search for your target college(s) and click on the name of the college to add it to your list.

When the college is added, you can edit your enrollment status by clicking the drop-down box that says "interested". Update your enrollment status to AppliedWaitlistedDeniedAccepted, or Will Attend.

Change the email address connected to your account in Account Settings.

Navigate to Account Settings.

Under the Login & Security section, click on your email.

A pop-up box will appear where you can update your email address.

Check your new email address inbox for an email asking you to verify your new email. Your new email will not be active until you click the link in the email to verify it.

We can only change your account email address to one that does not already have a Going Merry account and we cannot combine two separate accounts.

If you used a third-party sign-in when you created your Going Merry account (for example, Google Sign In or Apple Sign In), you will be prompted to enter your new email address and set a password. You can continue to use Google or Apple Sign In to log in to your Going Merry account.

If your financial aid offer wasn't enough to cover your bill, we recommend you submit an appeal. Learn more about financial aid appeals here.

If you'll need a student loan to cover the rest, begin by researching the lender that will give you the best rate. Most private lenders allow you to answer a few questions risk-free and then get your estimated interest rate. You’re under no obligation to actually get the loan. We recommend checking with Earnest first. Get your rate estimate from Earnest here.
