Not necessarily.

If you were invited to be a scholarship Administrator on Going Merry, it's likely that a scholarship has already been created and the scholarship manager has invited you to access applications and help select a winner. To access applications and help select a winner, you must accept the invitation. When you click the link to accept the invitation, you will set a password that will allow you to log in to the provider portal (your username is your email address).

It's also possible that a scholarship manager may have invited you as an Administrator to preview scholarship listing pages before they open to applicants to request feedback or suggestions before the scholarship opens. If you assist with scholarship creation, you may have been invited to help add scholarship(s) to Going Merry. Reach out to your scholarship manager if you're not sure.

If you were invited as a scholarship Reviewer on Going Merry, you do not need to create a scholarship. A scholarship has already been created, and the provider is inviting you to access applications and possibly help select a winner.

You cannot create a provider account on your own. You must be invited by another administrator, or, if you're just starting to build your program/add your scholarship(s) on Going Merry, a Going Merry representative must create a provider account for you.

You can find more information regarding the provider portal in our support center.
