To start, create an FSA ID.

You cannot share one FSA ID.

Go to the Studentaid.gov login page and log in using your FSA ID.

Under the "My Activity" section of your Dashboard, you'll see an "Action Required" notice next to the form. Click on the form. On the "Details" page, select "Provide Signature".

If you have any required contributors (such as a parent or spouse if you're married), they must sign the form using their FSA ID.

You as the student can submit your form without contributor signatures and your Submission Summary will be processed but your SAI (Student Aid Index) won't be calculated if contributor signatures are missing. You want to make sure contributors sign as you will not be eligible for federal student aid without your SAI.

All signatures must be submitted for the FAFSA form to be completely processed.
