How do I upload supporting documents?

Make sure you're logged into your Going Merry account.

Navigate to your Profile. To do this, click Menu in the top left corner > then click Profile.

Within your Profile, scroll down to the Documents section.

At the bottom of the Documents section, you'll see an option to "Upload Document" in the bottom left corner. There, you can select the document type and upload it from your computer.

After that, you simply fill out your document details, and your document will be uploaded. You can then attach the documents you upload to scholarship applications on Going Merry!

How do I view documents I've uploaded?

View Documents you, or that a counselor or recommender, uploaded to your profile, navigate to your Profile. To do this, click Menu in the top left corner > then click Profile.

Within your Profile, scroll down to the Documents section. You are then able to view the list of documents that you or a counselor or recommender uploaded to your profile.

How do I attach documents to applications that have been uploaded to Documents?

1. Click the Start Application or View Application button on the right side of the scholarship's webpage to start or resume your application.

2. Check which documents you need to attach. Scroll down to the Documents section of the application (if the application requires documents, you will see a Documents section at the bottom of the application, with the required documents listed).

3. Upload and attach documents. Click on the green "Attach documents" button on the right, a pop up box will then appear.

  • To attach a document already in your Document Portfolio, select the document you wish to upload, then click the "Attach & Close" button in the bottom right corner.

  • To attach a document that is not yet in your Document Portfolio, upload a new document in the green box that says "Click here or drag your file here to upload document". Once the document is uploaded, select it from your Document Portfolio list, and click the "Attach & Close" button in the bottom right corner.

Once you have attached a document, you should see a green check mark next to its name in the Documents section of your application, indicating that it has been successfully attached.

  • βœ… A green check mark next to a document name indicates that the document is attached to your application.

  • ❌ A red x next to a document name indicates that the document has not yet been attached to your application.

  • ⏳ An hourglass next to a document in orange text indicates that you've uploaded one of many documents but you still have additional documents that you're required to upload.
