[Providers] How do I select my recipient(s)?

Learn how to select scholarship winners using the Select Recipients button on the Evaluate page of the Provider Portal.

Providers can select the recipient(s) for their award by following the steps below:

1. Login to your Provider Portal.

2. Click the "Menu" button in the top left corner.

3. Select the "My Active Scholarships โœ…" tab to navigate to the Evaluate Applications page.

4. Click the green "Evaluate" button on the far right-hand side of the scholarship.

5. Click the orange "Select Recipients" button in the top right-hand corner to begin selecting winners.

6. Select the applicant(s) that is the winner, enter the Amount Awarded, and click the "Save" button in the top right-hand corner.

You will be asked to confirm your selection:

Three months after your deadline, Going Merry will notify all winners and non-winners via email and will update their application statuses in their Going Merry profile to inform applicants if they won the scholarship or not. You are encouraged and welcome to directly email your winners before then.

Contact us if you want to request an extended time frame, more than three months, before an announcement email is sent to applicants about their status (if they won or not).

We will not immediately alert winners that they have been chosen.

  • We will only automatically send announcement emails (to all winners and non-winners) three months after the scholarship deadline.

  • You are welcome to contact the winner(s) before then.

After saving your choice, the applicant(s) selected as recipients (aka winners) will be highlighted in light yellow:

Reviewers are not able to select winners.

Only users with Administrator access can select winners in the Portal.

To update your Account Role, contact your program administrator.
