[CBOs] How do I add my program's name when signing up?

Manually add your program name at sign up.

When signing up for a Going Merry Account, you are asked to enter the name of your Company/Organization.

Search for your program name. If it appears in the drop down menu, click your program name, then click "Create Counselor Account."

If your program does not already exist in our database and does not appear in the drop down menu, click "Add a new company/organization."

If you're certain that your program does not appear in the drop down menu, click "Continue to add new company."

Now enter the name of your program.

You will want to make sure that you properly name your program so that students can search and link their accounts to your program.

If you're with a TRIO program, here is an example of how you would name your program:

TRIO (name of your specific TRIO program) (name of the school/institution where you are located).

TRIO Talent Search Going Merry Academy

TRIO Upward Bound Going Merry Academy

TRIO Student Support Services Going Merry Academy

(TRIO) (Program) (School/Institution)

This will help students link their accounts to your specific program instead of another TRIO program also located at your school/institution. If students link themselves to the incorrect program, that’s ok, they can update the TRIO program in their profiles.
