[Students] How do I add an IEC or CBO that I'm working with to my profile?

If you're working with an independent counseling organization, make sure you add them to your Going Merry profile by following these steps.

If you're working with an Independent Educational Consultant (IEC) or a Community-Based Organization (CBO) to help you with your college admission journey, you'll want to make sure that you add them to your profile if they're also using Going Merry.

To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Profile > Education (or click here if you're signed in to Going Merry).

  2. Click "+ Add a School".

  3. Under "Type of School", select "Other".

  4. Search for your program and select the correct one. Be sure to read and check the "Mandatory Consent" box when you've found your program.

  5. Hit "Save", and you're done! 🎉

❗️ Please note: you'll only want to add a program if your program advisor has asked you to. If you aren't working with an IEC/CBO (or aren't sure), check with your program first to make sure they're using Going Merry.
