[Counselors] Can I invite my Google Classroom?

With just a few clicks, you can invite your students to sign up and ensure they get the support they need. Invite your Google Classroom so students can access essential financial aid resources, such as:

Scholarship Opportunities
FAFSA® Guidance
Financial Aid Appeal Letter Support

College Comparison Help

and more!

To get started, log in to your Going Merry Counselor account.

  • If you don't have a Going Merry account yet, sign up here.

Once logged in, click the "Add Students" button on your main dashboard.

Click the "Invite your Google Classroom" tile.

Click "Connect your Google Classroom".

Select or login to the Gmail account linked to your Google Classroom.

Google will ask you to confirm that you wish you share your Google Classroom. Click "Allow".

Your Google Classroom is now "Connected" 🥳.

The final step is to click "Invite your Class":

Congrats! Your Google Classroom has been invited.

Students who do not already have a Going Merry account will receive an email with an invite to create their Going Merry student account.
