[Counselors] How do I securely upload my student list?

Help your students access financial aid resources by sharing your class list with Going Merry.

We know how much you care about helping your students secure the financial aid they need for college.

With just a few clicks, you can send us your class list and we'll create accounts for your students. Students can then access essential financial aid resources, such as:

Scholarship Opportunities
FAFSA® Guidance
Financial Aid Appeal Letter Support

College Comparison Help

and more!

To get started, log in to your Going Merry Counselor account.

If you don't have a Going Merry account yet, sign up here.

Once logged in, click the "Add Students" button on your main dashboard.

Select the "Create Students' Accounts (Secure)" tile:

Click the green "Upload" button.

Recommended: Upload your list as a .CSV or .xlsx (Excel) file.

At a minimum, make sure your list includes your students':

  • First name;

  • Last name; and

  • Email address

Nice to include: grade level (for example, class of 2026).

After uploading your list, click "Submit":

Congrats! Your student list has been submitted!

Students who do not already have a Going Merry account will receive an email with their login credentials and instructions on how to sign in.
